Who is FabFay and where do you live?

I am a Goo Goo Dolls fan just like you! I'm a woman with a husband, two sons, a job, lots of interests and I play bass guitar. I live in the Washington DC area. I run three websites--FabFay and the Goo Goo Dolls Website, The Official Lance Diamond Website and FabFay's Support Local Music Website.

How did you get started with the Goo Goo Dolls?

I saw the Goos on MTV doing an interview. I thought they seemed like really nice guys. Later I discovered their music and became a fan. It was the music that got to me!!

I started this site in 1996 so fans could gather info about the Goos and not miss concerts in their area because they didn't know about them. When I started the site it was small, but the fans liked it. I originated the Goo Encounters and became the first (and I believe I still am) the only site with all candid, exclusive, non-promo photos.

When the band stopped touring, the major Goo sites stopped updating. But, my little site kept growing and I kept the Goo alive online. Slowly FabFay and the Goo Goo Dolls became one of the major Goo websites and continues to be the favorite site of many fans. Ideas that I originated have been used on most of the Goo sites that have come along sense I started. That's very flattering.
